Who’s Going to Save the World?

Hey all,

Here’s another oil painting (18×24) I completed not that long ago, originally based off of a friend’s request and photo here: https://a.gfx.ms//pdf_57.png

I ended up naming it “Who’s Going to Save the World?” because I firmly believe that education can solve the majority of the major issues in the world right now. It is so important, and so often overlooked!

Sorry for the watermark everyone!

Waving Flag

When I get older, I will be stronger, they’ll call me freedom, just like a waving flag–K’naan

This painting is the first I had ever done in oil and was my first complete painting. It was inspired by the lyrics to that song and this image here: http://senweb.lr.k12.nj.us/Library/class%20projects/Stapleford/Children45/AfricanChildren.jpg

It’s very sentimental, I hope you enjoy :)

Audrey Hepburn meets Andy Warhol

I have always fiercely admired Audrey Hepburn. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, anyone? She just has a timeless grace and style to her that is so beautiful. I’ve always wanted to do a portrait of her, and so I decided to make my portrait in a mock style of Andy Warhol’s screen printing. I love his use of simplicity and colour to deliver a powerful portrait. So here it is, a different take on Audrey Hepburn:
